Santino, Is That You?

Crazy.

Yan ang nasaksihan ko kanina sa first episode ng Project Runway Philippines.

And I mean it in a positive way ha. hihi

Gustuhin ko man iupload sa youtube ang naturang episode, eh hindi ako marunong. Hahaha! Kaya pagtiyagaan nyo na lang ang post na ito.

The show's opener is interesting. Maganda si Teresa ha. Pinangangalandakan ang kanyang long-legged. Jojie is maldita and funny when making faces after scrutinizing some of the contestants.

Nakakatuwa kasi nag toast sila sa Liwasang Bonifacio to start the show. No, not champagne. But buko juice! Very tropical! Hihi

What about the contestants?

Well, may nagpapaka-Santino Rice at Jay McCarroll kaagad.

May nanlalait pero chaka naman ang ginawa (read: horrendous), at yung nilait eh amazing ang outfit.

At siyempre mayroon ding mabait, lovable, at boring. Lalo na ang mga girl contestants. Lol

Sino-sino ba yung mga nabanggit ko?

Baka awayin pa ako. Duwag pa naman ako. Hahaha! =p

The first challenge was to create an outfit that shows your personality as a designer using the fabrics na nilagay sa loob ng mga jeepney na nakaparada sa Liwasan.

Of all the creations, standout agad ang bruhang Aries and Veejay. Bo's was also nice, as well as Ivan's and Lord's. And Eli? Hindi ko maalala ang ginawa nya. Haha

Top 3 chaka for me was Lola Loida's, Philipp and Lorymer's dresses.

And the judges?

They're not cruel! I hate their judging and how they grill the contestants. Rajo reminds me of Paula Abdul on AI. Guest judge Frederick Peralta I thought was very technical. And Apples? Not even close to Nina. Siguro 'pag siya ang inokray ni Nina ay humagulgol pa si Apples. Lol

All in all, I think it's a good start for Project Runway Philippines. Mas ok na 'to kumpara sa PNTM.
