This year's Ramon Magsaysay Awardees (Asia's equivalent to the Nobel prize) has been announced and one of them is a woman of greatness.
Gov. Grace Padaca of the province of Isabela will receive an RM Award for Government Service.
Kung maalala nyo, si Gov. Padaca was the polio victim and former radio commentator who won by landslide two elections ago over a powerful dynasty in the said province with limited budget and a small machinery.
With much confidence and inspiration from the people, she is currently serving her second term.
Oh 'di ba? Ang galing ng lola 'nyo.
Gov. Padaca indeed is a woman that we should look up to and emulate.
