Fearful.

When I opened my blog kaninang madaling-araw, I read Joms' message in my cbox. I got curious kaya I checked his blog kung ano ba yun.

It's about that Bangsamoro Juridical Entity pala which I am so totally clueless.

Ito ang disadvantage ng hindi pagbabasa ng headlines ng newspaper eh. Kasi naman diretso kaagad sa Lifestyle and Entertainment section. Pati local news sa tv ay dinededma ko na rin madalas. Ayan tuloy nagmumukha akong tanga at taga-ibang planeta.

Anywhore, nagbasa ako ng konti about this, nagtanong-tanong sa mga nakakatanda, and I watched the local news kaninang umaga and earlier this evening.

So, what are my thoughts on this?

I am not a political person and my poor brain cannot accomodate such information which involves a lot of things in history kaya magiging maiksi at medyo mababaw lang ang pananaw ko dito.

Marahil karapatan nga ng Bangsamoro people ang magkaroon ng 'kalayaan' dahil they are entitled to it. Their claim on 'ancestral domains' has been a fight for them for centuries. The BJE agreement, if I'm not mistaken, will 'claim'/covers the entire ARMM region and portions of Zamboanga.

I don't disagree with that. Siguro nga nauna talaga sila dito pero what about 'the now'? So many things have changed and more people in different types are involved.

If only alam natin kung ano ang nakalagay dun sa nasabing 'agreement', sana mas klaro ang pananaw ng mga tao ukol dito. But those who got a hold of the copy of this said 'agreement' are NOT in favor maybe there's something wrong with it.

I asked my Muslim friends about this. Kahit sila ayaw din nila nito.

Bottomline, it is a sad fact that this 'right to claim ancestral domains' ay nagiging bahagi (na naman) ng pampulitikal na ambisyon ng bruhang nakaupo sa palasyo.

Gahaman talaga sa kapangyarihan.
