The Graduate II

Read Part I here.

Gil did not took my victory gracefully.

I think naging bitter siya.

Not burnt sugar bitter but fresh ampalaya bitter.

He did not attend our graduation ceremony. Hahaha!

Hahaha!

I saw him on Friendster earlier last month and I sent a message and friend request na rin.

Nireject ba naman. LOL

Bitter much? Mag move on ka na noh! How long has it been, 48 million years?

Hahaha!

High school was a different ball game.

I graduated with no academic honors nor special awards.

Although I was constantly in the top ten of our class, I did not made it to the final honor roll.

Unlike in elementary where I graduated with flying colours, in high school I only got a single ribbon pinned in my toga. Yung “Graduate” ribbon. LOL

Kasi may nangyari.

I was standing beside my crush all the time and he knew I had a big crush on him for four years.

Yes, four years. Pathetic noh? Hahaha!

All the time we were singing our school’s hymn and our graduation songs, he was holding my hand.

HHWS kami. Holding hands while singing.

We were the fewest batch of graduates and only a few made it to the honor list.

One was from the Nursing Department, and the other from Arts and Sciences.

Hindi ako yun.

My parents attended my graduation. I think it was also the first time that the school required two guardians to attend the ceremony.

Anyway, it was a wonderful event because I sat in the middle of my parents and they were also with me when I and the rest of my barkada together with their guardians received our award.

“Thesis of the Year”.

Oh panalo noh? Hahaha!

Our batchmates gave us an overwhelming applause.

I couldn’t be prouder of myself and my peers.

Okay, the end na.

Hahaha!
