World AIDS Day

Kung hindi ko pa nabasa sa blog ni Aling Rajo ay hindi ko malalaman kung gaano kahalaga ang araw na ito.



Today, we celebrate World AIDS Day.

Please forgive me for forgetting. I know. Ang shonga shonga ko para makalimot but I have a valid excuse naman eh. I had no access sa tv for the past two days and limited lang din ang time ko to surf the internet. Plus, may lagnat pa ako since Sunday afternoon and yesterday all I did was rest and rest and rest.

Anyway, back to the topic.
To celebrate World AIDS Day, gusto ko pa rin manawagan sa lahat ng tao.

Be informed. Lalo na sa ating mga kabataan, habang maaga pa ay nawa’y maturuan sila ng lahat ng nararapat at sapat na kaalaman tungkol sa AIDS.

Be vigilant. Sabi nga ni Aling Rajo, cure for AIDS and HIV is within reach pero kelangan pa rin natin maging mapagmatyag about this. I have friends who are HIV infected, some of then are lucky to receive medication and some of them did not. Sana nga dumating na ang gamot in our lifetime. Let us support organisations who are helping in finding a cure for this.

Be safe. Meanwhile ito ang palaging advise ko sa mga mahihilig kong friends. Practice safe sex. Kung may partner or asawa ka na, please behave. Be faithful. Kung hindi maiwasan ang kati, mag sariling sikap. Kung hindi talaga maiwasan, matulog ka na lang. Hehehe.
