Of course, WNBA is still on-going but it's not as hot as before when the likes of Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoopes and my favourite Cynthia Cooper are still playing. Ngayon, it's just another basketball game.

To think some of the founding teams are no longer around which only shows that the WNBA franchise is not an assurance of a sure hit. In short, WNBA games don't matter anymore.
Anyway, the FIBA has just opened last weekend with Turkey as it's venue.

Surprisingly last Saturday, defending champion Spain led by NBA player Pau Gasol (LA Lakers) was defeated by Team France (led by Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs) to a final score of 72-66. Kaloka!
My bet is on Team USA of course. Basta feel ko lang mas stronger and younger ang players nila and sila ang mananalo this year. But watch out for the Greeks too. I heard they are a stronger team now, hello, they just defeated powerhouse China noh.
Meanwhile the NBA regular season will kick off on October 27. This is going to be an interesting season considering some excellent players are now playing for different teams. Most noticeable of course is LeBron James' transfer from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat.

Shaquille O'Neal will also be playing for the Boston Celtics this time. I bet this season will be a good one for the Celtics. the Shaq and Ray Allen together? My gosh, kabahan na si Kobe Bryant and all the Lakers fans out there.
Oh 'di ba, hindi lang ako pang-fasyon and landi-an, puede na rin akong pang-sports.
Hahaha!
