Thanks to my boss for that sad but eye-opening story.
So far, so good. I have not been cranky despite the sudden change in my diet. Siguro na-absorb talaga ng system ko kung gaano kasama ang pag-kain ng karne. Not that it’s bad but because I don’t know how that poor animal was slaughtered and malay ko ba kung hindi katanggap-tanggap ang pagkatay nito. To redeem myself from putting that cattle into his miserable death, I still am willing to continue with this diet. I know, it’s kinda rush but it’s not that difficult actually.

Hindi naman totally no-meat ang aking bagong diet. I still eat eggs and other kinds of dairy. I also eat fish and other seafood. As a protein supplement, I’m having beans as a substitute. Protein ba ang beans? Hahaha! I’m also trying to avoid canned and other processed foods.
Anyway, it also helped that my friend Edz informed me of the result of his recent medical check-up. He revealed to me that he has a lot of bad cholesterol and it’s a big health risk. To think that he swims on a daily basis and is maintaining a better diet than me, how much more bad cholesterol kaya ang nasa system ko kapag ako ang nagpa-check up. I’m sure with my unhealthy diet and a new level of obesity, baka doble pa ang dami ng bad cholesterol sa katawan ko. Scary underwood.
I really hope that with this new diet, I will become a healthier (and thinner) person.
I still salivate when I see fried pork chop or fried chicken when I see one but fortunately natitiis ko pa naman.

Meanwhile, kape pa siguro ang mawawala sa sistema ko, I will surely die.
