In fairness, the orange colour compliments her skin tone but the gown is just so average-looking.
I say, let’s just pray that she’ll make it work.
Fortunately, this is NOT the actual evening gown that Venus will wear during the preliminary competition. Thank God!
I believe some of the candidates whose gowns already appeared in the Miss Universe website will be their gown during the preliminaries.
In Venus' case, I really hope her competition gown will be better than this orange number.
Remember, malas ang orange this year. Itanong niyo pa kay Erap, Manny Villar at sa football team ng The Netherlands.

i do hope that bpci would give her a gorgeous competition gown or else, magiging sayang ang kanyang determinasyong ma-notice ang pilipinas. i a keeping my fingers crossed na pumasok siya sa top 5 or even win the miss universe crown. :-)
