Every third week of August ginaganap ang Kadayawan sa Davao.
This means a lot of partying, bazaars, events, food and drinks and of course, the overwhelming durian.
I am not a durian eater myself before not because of its smell (I think its fragrant contrary to everybody’s opinion na mabaho ito) but because hindi ko lang type kainin.
A few years ago, I tried to eat durian and I liked it.
It’s very sinful I can consume a whole by myself.
Char lang.
For me, it’s really delicious ha. Ewan ko ba kung bakit ayaw ni Andrew Zimmern sa durian eh kumakain nga siya ng bulate at bulok na itlog sa show niyang Bizaare Foods. Hahaha!
Anyway, sa mga pupunta sa Kadayawan Festival, make sure to be in comfy clothes. Indak-indak sa Kadalanan (street dancing) will be on Saturday while the floral float parade is on Sunday. Party is everywhere from the streets, restaurants and bars so you won’t get lost if you’re looking for one.
And also, did I mention Davao City has a 2AM curfew?
Hahaha!
I think our gorgeous Mayor Inday Sara will be considerate to push the curfew, fiesta naman ‘di ba?

grrrrrrrrr...eh di sana dito ko nalang binooked yung flight ko other than the same manila scene...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..wala kasi akong alam sa mga festivals..ahaha...but surely i will take note this month para naman maiba ang lalakbayan next year.
